
In the Tungan Malam clash, a youth allegeldy led cattle into a large farmland, destroyed the crops. When the owners of the farm complained, the youth and other herders struck and killed one of the farmers. The farmers however regrouped and went on a reprisal, killing at least three herdsmen.
NEMA officials in Minna along with other key stake holders paid a visit to Bokuta village. Women and children in the village fled and are camped in Bosso primary school, while the men along with security officers stood guard over their crops in the village.

The farmer engaged the herdsmen in a fight during which one of the invaders was killed while another one was injured. The following day, herdsmen went on a reprisal and shot five farmers dead.
